Queer Team Badminton – Europe’s first and only queer league. Community-powered, community-driven.

Welcome to QUBALI

Our League is a queer community project. It has emerged from an ongoing collaboration between queer sports clubs and groups from Germany and across Europe. Community-powered, community-driven.

We organise a team-based badminton competition where it’s not individual players, but entire teams—and their home clubs—competing in singles and doubles based on skill level. This format is currently unique in Europe!

Everyone who enjoys playing badminton and feels connected to the queer movement is welcome. Team composition and match formats are not based on gender identity or sexual orientation.

In the 2025 season, 27 teams from 17 different cities and clubs are competing for the championship titles.
